Monthly Support Group Meetings

Our monthly meetings feature speakers that range from neurologists to physical therapists to health care providers. All of our guest speakers focus on informing us how to live fuller lives with Parkinson’s and with our support partners.

We meet the first Tuesday of the month from September to June except December at the Groce United Methodist Church from 10 am to 12 pm.

Monthly Social Gatherings

A time to socialize and interact in an informal setting, enjoying a beverage and a meal.

We gather on the third Thursday of every month at 5:30 pm.

Special Events

During the year we have three special events

Our Summer Picnic is held at the Governor’s Western Residence. It’s a time for music, dance, great food, and best of all friendship. The address is: 45 Patton Mountain Rd. Asheville N. C. 28804 date and time TBA.

The Parkinson’s  Educational Fair features vendors showing us the latest innovations to help us live with Parkinson’s. The fair is held on the first Tuesday in April Parkinson’s Awareness Month.  The address is: Groce United Methodist Church 954 Tunnel Rd. Asheville NC, 288050
beginning at 10 am.

Holiday Party is held in December the time and date TBA.
